Snakes!

So this little beauty has appeared near our garage door a couple of times now. And because our garage door is old and bows on the ends, I am always afraid when I put my shoes on that I have left in the garage. The boys thought that it was so cool at first, then when Trav tried to chase it down the drive way with a shovel, we couldn't kill it in front of the kids!!, it started to attack the shovel. It wasn't so cool after that. The last time that it showed up, we actually ran over its head. Which you would think would kill the sucker right?! WRONG!! It continued to wiggle around, and when we came back 30 minutes later it was still moving down the drive way with its flat little head. We actually haven't seen it since. But every time I see this picture it makes me nervous to step out in my garage.
(I know that this isn't the video I said that I would put up, but for some reason my new, cool, way over priced computer can't seem to read my videos. We have a love/HATE relationship right now.)

Wow. You handled that WAY better than I would have. I nearly came out of my skin just seeing the picture! I think I would have been scared to set foot in my garage let alone put my shoes on! What a woman you are!

Hopefully, in a brain damaged stupor he went into a drainage ditch or something and drowned. No snake lovers over here either.:)

Last comment, I promise. Jamie, where did you get your cute blog backgrounds and what the heck happened to your arm? I think I noticed a cast in some of your pictures. You poor thing, three boys, a snake, and an injury.:)

I should put a snake on his pillow! Ofcourse he has probably read all the comments and will now be anticipating it. I'll have to find another way to get him. :)
