Red Rock Park

One of our other adventures. Trav found this place online, they have this amazing amphitheatre built in the 1930's as part of FDR's work program during the World War. They had actually been using the place for concerts since the 1880's. I wish we had known about it just a few days earlier because Sheryl Crow had just been there. I guess it is a HUGE deal to be invited to play there. The boys loved playing on the stage and on the rocks behind it. Trenton REALLY wanted to go on a hike, but...Trav and I have had bad allergies since we got here and we both took some benadryl right before we left, combo of that and the high altitude and we were not up for the challenge. We will have to go back for sure, it was so beautiful there.

This is the boys and I at the top. I guess I've not noticed how LONG my hair has gotten.

They say that this place holds about 10 thousand people

The boys in the hole. Jacob was a little creeped out at first, so Trenton showed him that it was ok and that there weren't any blood sucking bats inside.

Oh Boys!

That is such a cool amphitheater. Too bad about missing the Sheryl Crow concert :( The boys look so cute inside that hole in the rock and when I saw that picture of you the first thing I noticed was how long your hair was! That's funny. You guys look great! Still miss you :(
