BUT FIRST..... updates.....
We attended our nephew, Chandler's graduation at the FAMED Marriott Center at BYU.
After the FOREVER long ceremony was over Trenton was like, "IS IT NOW OVER??!!" And asked me if he could go see Hailey, one of our nieces. I told him ok, but he told Travis that he was going with me and that it was time to leave. Can you guess where this is going? After about five minutes or so, Travis realizes that Trenton is not with either of us or our niece. Kyle, brother, says that he thinks he remembers seeing him make his way up the stairs and out the door. OK, we are really close to the floor of the Marriott center waiting for the crowds to part, so you can imagine our plight, fighting our way through the crazies filing out of the place. Our whole family makes it to the top, which we were sure that as soon as he got there and noticed that we weren't with him, he would stop. NOPE. OK, well for sure he is just right outside the doors in the entry. NO AGAIN. Panic is taking hold. Shaun and his friend and Travis and I make our way in different directions looking for him. By this time all I can think about is the CRAZY Man caught on video tape, the day before, at the Walmart by Travis parents house molesting little girls when there mom's weren't looking. So YES, I am in a major panic state. I couldn't even remember what he was wearing. I made my way around without seeing him, I must have ran over five or six old people and pushed a ton of teenagers on cell phones out of my way. I get back to my sister in law who is standing by the entrance to where we were sitting just in case he comes back and holding Xander, she says that no one has found him yet. So I make my way back inside the arena and check, nope. By this time I actually hit my knees and pray that where ever he is he is safe and that if someone has him, that they will let him go. I start to run around outside the building and start calling Trav, he answers with a choke and says that he can't find him either, and reading my mind reminds me what he has on. I then saw Shaun and he has a terrified look on his face as well and says he will go the other direction. Then it comes to me, where are Trav's parents? They had to sit on the floor of the Center because his dad is in a wheel chair. I call Trav back and tell him to find out where they are. By now I am crying and maybe 30 seconds after I hang up with Travis, Shaun calls and says that Trenton is with his parents and tells me where they are. I start bawling, run into Trav and we make our way to where they are. Turns out that on Trentons way out he remembered seeing Grandma and Poppy and went down the stairs and not up, so he has been with them for the worse 30 minutes of my life. As soon as I saw him all I could do was hold him a cry. Needless to say he was a little freaked out that we were so freaked out.
Us after the "reunion"
That night we stayed with our great friends, the Cooks.
Xander and Brynlee
The morning that I had breakfast with some friends Trav took the boys to hike the "Y".
They loved it and Jacob and Trenton picked me some beautiful sunflowers they found growing on the trail.
OK, our house..... The boys are LOVING the back yard and all the freedom it gives them. Xander is loving it too, and makes his way out whenever the door is open.
I tend to be a little nervous, ok paranoid, for a few days after we move into somewhere new. I must share this trait with Jacob, he MUST sleep with his He-Man sword every night.
This is the front, obviously
The garage
The Front room, still needs a little something. Are you loving our FREE black leather couches as much as I do??!! Thanks Oldroyd's for the couches!!!
The office/playroom. This room is holding us up, and will probably not be complete for a little while longer. But check out the AWESOME train table that Travis found garage sale-ing on Saturday. It has tons of stuff and bins underneath. The boys love it.
The Kitchen. I am so loving all the space that I have.
The Boys rooms. They are small, but sufficient. And the closets are huge, so they are used for storage space.
Our room. We really enjoy having a big room. Now maybe I can keep my room clean. I have to admit that for YEARS we have had a little room and it always ends up messy because it is so small and full of stuff that every morning I would just leave and close the door behind me.
Another great find of Trav's. He found this bad boy for $3.00. It works like a charm and he loves not having to pull a cord around behind him. He almost ran away laughing at the poor old lady that sold it to him for so cheap, just because she said it was too heavy for her to carry around.
Our garden spot. Just a few plants, I know. We decided to leave a spot open for the boys to dig around in the dirt, hoping that this would keep them from digging in our garden, didn't work so well. Trenton says that they didn't dig in it, or even pick our just growing bell pepper, but it fell off when he pummeled it with dirt clods.

So glad we have found your blog and that you posted pictures of the couches. They look so awesome. They were never meant for a dental office anyway, you'd have to sit right next to a stranger in the waiting room.:) We have to have you guys over for dinner soon.

Everything looks great!!! What fun for the boys to have a backyard! I was so happy to see that the carpet made the living room, please think of me when you walk on it :)
Jamie, your house is awesome! I am so happy for you guys! It must be great having so much room and that fenced in back yard! I can't believe how big Tanner is! They are too cute! I am glad that Trenton is safe...what a scare! Oh, and I love Jacob sleeping with the sword...he cracks me up! We just miss you guys so much!
You will never believe this, but I just found out that you are in the same ward as Kimball's brother and family--Lamont & Melissa Larsen! We were just with them over the last weekend for our Grandmother's funeral (which is why I am SO behind on blogging) and they said that they recognized your names being read into the ward from the comments that you would make on our blogspot! I told them that you and I grew up together. They are such great people with 2 boys, as well. Promise me, though, no sharing embarrassing secrets about our youthful adventures!
Love you!
Jamie, you have waited so long for a house!! It is very cute and I am sure you are loving the space! We miss your cute little boys. I would have been a complete disaster after your Trenton experience. How scary for all of you!
