We've moved...

....again. We recently moved to Farmington, New Mexico. It's going good. Trenton is in a great school in town, and has ACTUAL homework! In Payson all he had during the week was to read for 20 minutes. Travis and I weren't sure how to even help him with his grammar homework. Coding words?!?! What on earth? They did that for two weeks I was at a lose as to what to do, luckily he's a smarty and figured it out. He's teacher is fabulous, and there are so many members in his grade. I think that we've actually moved to "little Utah".
Right now we are in the midst of finding a house, and dealing with the fact that our MONSTER DENTAL LOANS are playing a huge factor in our Debt Load. It's so frustrating! We are living in a small town home right on the golf course. Seriously. Golfers on my back porch every day. Without fail. There is no where for the kids to play outside, that is until after 6:30 when the country club closes. Our poor pooch, whom I don't want to deal with in the house, resides in the cement courtyard. Travis had to go and buy one of the industrial baby gates to keep her in. The only one we had, she quickly learned to knock down and had spent a few hours following golfers around on the course. Luck for her, and us, she is the sweetest thing ever and one golfer brought her home the other day but only after several golfers got into an argument over who would take her home.

We've also adopted five baby kittens. NOT FOR KEEPS THOUGH!! Much to our boys dismay. Why on earth would we do this you ask? Because we are insane around here. These little kittens were born in a nest next to the door of our church building. The scouts found them right after they were born, and last week the kids make a mad dash out of Primary before the adults could stop them and removed them from their nest. Trav and I have taken care of feral kittens before, but never completely on our own, or with four other children. But here we are. After having kids I've developed an allergy to cats and have to wear gloves when I feed them.

Miss Abby is growing like a weed!! Of course I forget how small she still is until I compare her with other babies her age. She is rolling over and jabbers like crazy! She is super loved by these big brothers of hers. Especially Xander. He just can't get enough of her.

Ummm....Jamie...Great post! But judging from the spelling, it looks as though you might have gone to school in Animas!!

Okay you are insane for the kittens, but its such a sweet thing for you to do. And a great experience for the kids! Plus they are way cute.
