The Streak is BroKEN!!

Well...it's official! We are having a baby girl! The boys are excited, although Jacob dislikes the name we've chosen so much that it brought him to tears one night.

When we were deciding on names with Trenton we chose Abigayle Rose. And although Abby is a very common name, and we know a lot of Abby's, there is something behind the name.

When Travis was four he lost a little sister named Gayle Rose. She was born with multiple heart and lung problems and out lived the initial time the Doctors gave his parents. He said that he can still remember the day she died. Trav said he came into the room that morning and his Mom was quietly rocking the baby and crying and he just knew that she was gone. It amazes me the reverence that he and his brothers have for her. She was some thing very very special and they all knew it.

When we were married, our Sealer talked briefly about family members that had passed on that were there with us on our special day, and Gayle was one that came to our minds.

So although we have many friends named Abby, which is Jacobs reasoning for wanting a different name (not that he doesn't like any of the Abby's we know, he just thinks that his sister should have a different name), we will be having our own.
