Family Visit!

Travis' brother and his family, Troy and Becky, were able to come out and visit us for a week. We were so excited for them to come out. They have three of the cutest little girls and I enjoyed watching the dynamics between our crazy boys and their emotional girls. It was a great time.

We took them out to our favorite spot for some hot dog roasting
and the obvious favorite...
SMORES!!

Don't ya just loved her hair!!!
Oh...and the face.

The fire got roaring there for a minute and all the kids
were a little nervous to be very close.
Needless to say, their SMORES were a little
under cooked.

Flexing their muscles.
Gotta teach the girls what boys are all about!

Little Miriam just checking things out.
She is the cutest and every time you smile at her, she just can't
help but grin ear to ear.
We were able to celebrate Trav's 31st Birthday with Troy and Becky.
They made some yummy spaghetti bake and then Becky and I
made a cheese cake. Which wasn't quite as yummy.
Blame me. Ovens HATE me.
We surprised Trav with some Guitar Hero World Tour.

He laughed and asked if it was for me.
Ok, I LOVE Guitar Hero, but he does TOO!!!
But really, I think that he and Xan (notice the face) really
love the drums. Or "bums" as Xan calls them.
Trenton takes after me. He loves the guitar.

We've been missing our favorite ice cream place in Kentucky, Graeters (uh, just the thought makes my mouth water) and decided to try out a little place here in town.
Scoops. They don't make their own ice cream like Graeters, but they serve
Dreyers which is good and the scoops are large.
They painted some tables with chalkboard paint and have card games on all the other tables.
So we let the kids draw to their hearts delight while we played a little Skip-bo.

Think Xan got more on his shirt? Or the table?
Who could tell.
Isn't this just the sweetest picture ever?!
Come on. It's about 8pm and we're eating ice cream.

T and B enjoying their ice cream.Don't Troy and Trav looks similar? It even confused Xander a few times.

Infact, when Troy went into the office to see Trav the front office lady said something like, "I don't even have to ask what you're here for!"

Funny thing is they even sound alike. More on the phone then in real life.

When Trav and I were dating it would always confuse me.

We brought the kids picnic table in so that there would be

enough room. Xander and Ella loved it.

They look so sweet here together, but really they had
a love/hate relationship the whole time.
Infact, he started chasing her around saying,"BELLA" in the craziest
growling voice which totally freaked her out
giving him enough reaction to keep doing it for three days straight!

We had to show them "The Park".

There are only two in town and this one has the largest play ground.

This is Xan's "cold" face.

It just cracks us up!!

Trenton and Jacob LOVED having Bridgette around.

Jacob got her all to himself during the day while Trenton was at school,

and then there were fights and tears as to who Bridgie could spend

more time with once he was home.

Thanks guys for coming out!!! The boys are asking when we can come to YOUR house in Chicago. We'll have to plan a trip soon!!

Seeing all the pictures of camping makes me really miss you guys. We loved camping with you guys! Oh, the good old days! By the way, if you ever go to Chicago to visit your family there, let us know and we'll meet you there because Nathan's brother lives there too.

That is CRAZY that Trav has a brother named Troy. Travis (MY Trav) also had a triplet brother named Troy who did not survive. WHOA huh? You are just missing Tim. How fun to have family visit! I think we need to visit now.
