CHRISTMAS!!!!!!
That is what Jacob yelled the other morning when I brought him down the stairs to look out the back door and see all the STINKIN' white stuff! (can you tell I DO NOT enjoy the snow?) They were saying on the news the night before it snowed that November 21st was the latest they have had snow here, and I was crossing my fingers that this would be a record breaking year. Unfortunately not. The boys are super excited though. All the way down the stairs Jacob kept says, "What MOM, WHAT?? Is it CHRISTMAS??" I told him that it's not and he said, "Yes it is! It only snows on Christmas!"
And on the way home from dropping off Trenton he started in on the Christmas songs. Here is how it went: "Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all around the way. Oh what fun it is to run in this one horse open shleigh."
I guess maybe I should break out the music sooner. Poor kid doesn't even know the right words to one of the simplest songs there is.
Oh and you should have seen Xander's face! I wish I had my camera on then. It was complete shock. He so wanted to go out with Jacob, but he has had a little runny nose and I wasn't willing to take the chance. Besides, we live in Colorado! There will be plenty of chances to play in the snow I'm sure.
Jacob went out and played for a while until he decided that he needed some one to play with, ME. So I put Xander down for a nap and jumped into my warm snow clothes, yes I have my own, and we built a "Snow Mountain". I forgot to snap a picture before it melted, but think "Mount Crumpet" and you'll have a good visual of what we made.
After wards we put Trav's best friend to work. And for those of you who KNOW I don't like Hot Chocolate, no worries, I haven't changed my mind. Lets just say a little chocolate ice cream mix into hot chocolate is VERY YUMMY!

Yikes, look at that snow! Jacob is so cute, I like his words to Jingle Bells better anyway so he doesn't need to worry about learning the right ones ;) Is that the chocomotion (or whatever it's called) that I see? I still want one of those. I look every time I'm at the store but haven't seemed to find one yet. Yummy Yummy!

We have a cocoamotion also. I love it on a cold day.

So it snowed here last night! What the junk is up! It never snows here so early. I'm sure your winter will be a little colder than mine though. I loathe the winter. I love those little boys of yours! I wish we were drinking warm chocolate ice cream mix together!
