We had a great time in Utah, although I don't ever care to travel for two days to get there again, and loved spending time with the Shepherd side of the family. Travis went skiing with Mike Cook, we stayed a night with them, saw my great friend Cindy, went to "the donut factory" (Krispy Kreme's), ate at Gandolfo's and Brick Oven (our fav's!) , went to the BYU bookstore, and our niece who is in beauty school colored and cut my hair. We loved seeing Utah county, minus the CRAZY drivers who almost ran me off the road twice with in 3 minutes. We were able to make it to Uncle Shaun's graduation from the Utah Law Enforcement academy. He is working for the prison at the point of the mountain, and is hoping to get on a police force sometime soon, we are so proud of him. While staying with family in Springville we found out that Travis sells real estate, what a surprise!! The boys got to spend lots of quality time with Grandma and Poppy and all their cousins. Trenton decided when he got home that he was tired of playing with girl toys, there are 13 girls in the fam, even though he did mostly play with the barbie house with the only boy cousin he has close to his age. We will miss them all tons.

sounds like you guys had so much fun!!! how are you guys adjusting to being home? i have been worried about xander since we left, how is he doing? we missed you guys and hope all is well. love the sign. just to give you heads up dax is crawling has two teeth and is pulling himself up in standing position, i am sure xander is not far behind so beware!!! hope to see you guys soon....oh ya how did travs interviews go?
Real estate, huh? Not sure if that is a lateral move or not. Who is that doing your hair? Nice perk! I am glad you guys are back. It was good to ring in the New Year with you guys!
Fun times... Though I feel like I already knew all this before I read the blog. j/k. Well, I think your experience has taught me a valuable lesson - never to drive home. :) BTW - you left Xander's shoes and some diaper wipes here. I'll bring them to church on Sunday.
