After a few flights, some long interviews and a near endless wait, we finally know where we will be spending next year - DENVER - After many long discussions over the past 3 1/2 years and many hours of contemplation I decided to apply to a GPR (1 year general practice residency). We looked at 3 programs seriously and The University of Colorado in Denver was the program that fit what I was looking for and a place we thought we might enjoy for a year while I gain a little extra experience. We were fortunate to be selected and are very excited about the opportunity and being alot closer to home and family. Thanks for all of your support and encouragement. We'll keep you posted on the move!!!

While I am very excited for you, I must admit that I am SOOOOOO sad. I love, love, love the Shepherd family! I am really so sad that you guys are leaving. I hope we can be friends forever! As long as you don't block your blog, I can keep up to date with you and your lives. :( :( :( :( :(
AHHH! I have been waiting to here and meaning to call everyday (sorry)...we are super excited for you guys but we'll miss you so much! --I don't care how much we don't see each other, you were our first friends here and we love ya!! (smile)
That is so exciting for your family, 1- to be done with Dental School and 2- to know where you are going to go once its over. Just think of all the wonderful adventures you will have in Denver. I hear it is BEAUTIFUL. That is so exciting. WHAOOO

Can you hear me sniffle?? I am so sad you guys are leaving, but maybe we'll still get to see you yet again after you move... Ty's brother and sis live in Denver, so we just might make a trip someday to visit them... and you too!
That is awesome for you guys. Brady's sister's family lives in Denver and they LOVE it there! We are happy for you, but we will miss you also!!
Congratulations on knowing your next step! We just had one of Kimball's brothers move to Denver. So, your being there is one more good reason to come visit! Good luck through the last long hard push of Dental School!

What a relief to have some direction!! Congratulations!! OH how I will miss your cute little family. Spring in Kentucky is always so BITTERSWEET. It is so sad to say good bye to such great friends!Keep in touch!
HEY JAMIE!!! i know you are probably calling me this morning but i can't find my cell phone. i think it is in the car and jon took it to school. i will be there to pick jacob up a little after 930 cause jon only had class till 9 so he drove. i will be there though at like 940 or so. i hope you check this!! i didn't forget!
Congratulations! Denver is beautiful. I think it would be a great place to live. Except for all the snow. No thanks! :) I like the one snow day a year we get around here!
