Hiking!

Last weekend (before the Tornado!) we went hiking in Castlewood Canyon State Park. We went last summer and have been counting the days until we could hike it again. It is so beautiful there and such an easy hike. The boys could do it without having to stop too often. We tried to go a few weeks before, but the weather was bad. Trav had been talking to the York family in our ward, they have 4 boys, and they said that they would love to go with us. I was laughing at the comments people made as they past us and all 7 boys. One older man asked if we went to some "boy farm" and picked them all up. YEP! That's EXACTLY what we did.

Our normal camera is having issues so we had to use our video camera, which is a pain to take pictures with, so there aren't many.
All the boys (minus the babies) in the beginning

Another group shot (Jacob's leg is in the shot)

This is just about at the end. Some of the boys were starting to wonder if we would ever make it back to the cars, and LUNCH!

I'm so glad that we got to go one last time. I remember thinking how UGLY Colorado was when we first got here. Now....I'm gonna miss all the Green. Maybe in a year I'll have changed my mind about how "Ugly" Arizona is. This whole moving business is really starting to wear on me. Especially now that the house we WERE going to rent (we have a contract and sent in our money) was just sold out from under us!!!!!!!!!

Payson is such a hard place to find housing in as it is.

As much as I LUUUV Texas...I'd pay cash to be hiking around Colorado. It's SO beautiful. Love to visit there and that's one place I think I could actually live outside of Texas and be happy.

Oh, and I can't stop listening to that Youtube video you posted. Beautiful.

Castlewood Canyon along with Garden of the Gods and Pikes Peak I miss them all. Thanks for sharing the pictures. In all of my travels I have found beauty in every place. Some of them just took longer than others to become beautiful. Good luck!

The hike looks like fun. I haven't been hiking forever. They sold your house? Can they do that? Any idea where you are going to live?

They sold the house out from under you???? Holy crap thats rude! Ah well, that just means there is a bigger and better deal waiting for you somewhere.
