I swear I was just in the Hospital having this little monkey. He was 7lbs. 5oz. and 18 in.
He came home only weighing 6lbs. 15 oz. he was so little.
But that didn't last long...
Nothing like starting off the day with a baba of cold whole milk! We got out the pool and decided that we would just celebrate at home. Xander wasn't fond of the cold water...
But after hauling out buckets full of hot water, he decided that it was fun, that is until he got splashed in the face one time too many!
We always feed our kids pizza on their birthdays, I know super healthy of us, but Xan loved it
Just thought his pluggy friend should share in the joyous occasion
No I didn't make his cake, lazy mom I know.
Despite this face he really liked the cake and dove right in
But once the icing consumed his face he was No longer enjoying the cake
A year goes so fast. He is by far my chubbiest, baldest, craziest and most stubborn baby I have had. He hates when you tell him NO and will through the biggest fit I have ever seen come from such a little person. He always gives me love pats on my back when I get him up in the morning, and LOVES his big brothers. In the mornings he roams the house looking for Dad. Which after Mom was his second word, followed by baba (bottle), ni-ni (night night), ball, and finally uh-oh. He is so brave, except when it comes to walking. Will only eat if he can feed himself, which started at six months, needless to say we wasted A LOT of baby food. He likes singing, dancing and wrestling Jacob. He will start leading the music whenever some one sings, and especially when we are at church. He has the greatest growl I've ever heard, but I have yet to capture it on video. He knows exactly what the Wii remotes and wheel do, and loves to just sit and watch people play. He puts himself to sleep, as long as there are a couple of pacifiers in his bed and going there was his idea. I can't wait to see what the next year has in store for this little guy.

Oh Happy Birthday Xander! That was so sweet. He definately has a special home to grow up in.
I love his round head. Good luck with the stubborn thing--Maddie is that way and hasn't grown out of it...yet.
Happy Birthday to Xander! I can't believe he is a year either! I remember when we were in acheivement days and we came back from Christmas break and I told Ryan, I think Jamie is pregnant, and I was right! That seems so not that long ago!
Ohhh... I can't believe he's already one! It seems like yesterday that we visited you in the hospital. I love that cake and the destruction he made to it. Those are some priceless photos!
