For some strange reason they have a Mars exhibit at the aquarium, ??? It was interesting and they boys loved the astronaut suit.
Even mommies can enjoy the horseshoe crabs at the aquarium.
The most amazing thing was the shark and sea ray exhibit. We spent a long time watching them glide around. They had another area where you could touch the rays - they feel like slimy rubber.

Day 5: Most of the day was spent at the Ripley's Aquarium. Early in the morning I got up and walked the beach for a couple of miles looking for sea shells and taking a few early morning ocean pictures. I had no success with shells and the pictures turned out fine, but I took them with my 35mm, so I can't post them. In the late afternoon when we had plans on going back to the beach a huge rain storm came through, so we headed to the outlet mall to burn a little time and money. All in all it was a fun day and good closing day to our vacation. We recommend Myrtle Beach to anyone for a good time.
